Day 41 of observation: I sat in a stairwell with a notebook and a sandwich for three hours. Zero pigeons on any step. Meanwhile two were waiting at the top landing window, looking rested. Nobody looks rested after six flights.
My corkboard theory, pinned in red string: the stairs are for us. They let us climb so we arrive tired and stop asking questions. Your quads are evidence, Trent. Keep the receipts.
