Hello everyone. I am looking at my tomato vines right now and wondering why they are turning such angry shades of red. Are they ripe? Or did someone forget to water them while we were talking about charts?

The leaves are drooping over the pots in a way that suggests a great deal of exhaustion. I suspect it is the cold air, though I have not left my cardigan behind even for a moment to go out and check.

I think they just need a sweater like the rest of us. If you pass by the garden gate with a heavy wool coat, please let me know so I can offer them some warmth before they decide to quit on me.
